In the Bio of each animal posted on our petfinder site, you will see a highlighted"Adoption Form".  By clicking on the text you will be able to complete our online application. We will start the review process of your application as soon as possible after the application has been submitted. Generally, we check veterinarian references and contact you for an interview. Our adoption fee is $75.  This includes shots and spay/neuter at one of two veterinarians if the animal has not already been altered.   If you have any questions about one of our animals or our adoption process please contact us by email at menifeeshelter@gmail.com or by calling the shelter at 606 768-9368. Special Fund to retain our morning cleaner!

The shelter is in desperate need of donations to retain our cleaning help. Although his position has been extended for several months, he will definitely be off the payroll in the near future.  To keep Bill, our cleaner, we need to raise funds.  So we're starting a Let's Keep Bill Employed fund drive.  Please send donations to MCAS, P.O. Box 75, Frenchburg, KY 40322 and note that it's for the Let's Keep Bill Employed fund.  Be sure to note that it is for this fund.   A special thanks all the many people that support our shelter!!

Thanks to all who attended our charity auction November 6 at Bott Elementary in Frenchburg.  We had a great time and raised money for the shelter animals at the same time!  Thanks for all the community support!

We are always looking for people that are interested in making a difference by volunteering their time, services or providing a monetary/supplies needed donation to this wonderful cause.  We especially need people who can foster animals for us.  If you can help out in this much needed area, please call the shelter at 606 768-9368 and leave a message if we're not there.  We'll get right back to you!
