Funeral service for Boone -- Monday January 2nd, 2012
The funeral service for Danny Jewell (Boone) will be held at 2PM on 1/2/12 at the Queen Street Christian Fellowship. This is next to the Taul Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling. Visitation will be from 12-2.
Danny Jewell -- Friday December 30th, 2011
It is with great sadness we share the passing of a great friend of the shelter. Danny Jewell, or Boone as he was affectionately known, was a kind man who loved animals and always helped anyone in need. We will miss him tremendously. There will be a memorial service; we will share that information when it is available. We extend our condolences to his wife, children and grandchildren.

Hope you all had a great Christmas! The animals at the shelter did because of some wonderful people! A very special thank you goes out to Jennifer Roberts, her class, and the other Menifee schoolchildren who collected goodies and money for the shelter for the holidays. We are so lucky to have caring children in our schools. Thank you all so much!!!!

Annual Menifee County Animal Shelter charity auction fundraiser on November 12, 2011 at Botts Elementary School, Hwy 460 in Frenchburg, KY..
Silent auction begins at 12:00 PM and concludes at the end of the live auction. Live auction begins at 6PM Contact 606 768-9368 for donating items or questions. Join us for an evening of food and fun that benefits the animals of Menifee County!
Golf Gala -- Sunday October 9th, 2011
