Yard Sale -- Saturday May 8th, 2010
We're looking ahead to spring! Our semi-annual fundraising yard sale will be May 8, 2010 at the Farmer's Market. Come find great bargains while helping the animals! We'll miss you! -- Sunday February 14th, 2010
A special thank you goes out to Brooke Coldiron for the many hours she put into the shelter as a volunteer. Brooke will be moving to Bath County so she won't be here to volunteer. We will miss you, Brooke! Thanks for all the hours you helped the abandoned animals of Menifee County!
Snowy Weather -- Wednesday February 10th, 2010
Our area really has seen it's share of snowy weather! Just like we need protection from the weather, our animals need to be kept safe and warm. Adequate shelter, drinkable water, and daily food are required by our state laws. In cold times like these, bringing animals inside at night may be needed to prevent frostbite. Extra straw or wood chip bedding is also needed when the animals are outdoors. We love our pets; let's keep them warm and healthy during these cold months!

We want to send a special thank you to Mrs. Roberts' 3rd grade elementary class. They sent so many great items for the animals at the shelter. We really appreciate all their hard work!
